I see the temptation of it. It's a popular platform right now. Everybody's going on about it, and it sounds like an easy way to get started. You can join Oberlo, go to AliExpress, find thousands upon thousands of products, and use Oberlo to just load up your store with basically any product you want.

You get to skip the work of contacting suppliers, locking in contracts and getting reseller accounts. So I can see the benefits of it and I understand why people get so excited about the concept. Maybe they want to try running their first store with this method.

I think at the end of the day it's just so that they can skip trying to lock in those suppliers. I understand the appeal of that, but there are quite a few negatives to using Oberlo and Aliexpress. By skipping that supplier process, you're then moving all of your operations offshore, which can have a lot of negative effects on your busine...
