How To Dropship Profitably In Australia

Today we're going to be covering how to dropship profitably. There are so many different ways to dropship your products, and many of them work well, but I'm going to give you my top tips.

A lot of you already dropship through eBay or Amazon, and there are other platforms as well, like AliExpress. But for me, the best way to do it is to treat it like an actual real business. Find your own suppliers, build your own e-commerce site, advertise yourself via Google PLAs, AdWords Facebook. I know a lot of you do that with cheap products on AliExpress and other platforms, but I'm talking about running your business as if you had your own warehouse and factory and you're pumping out your own products directly.

So let's start at the beginning. I always use a platform called Shopify; I find it the easiest way to build a stunning site, no matter what you're selling. Next, it's important to have a niche. I don't really care what niche, but I really look for products that are between say 200 and a thousand dollars. That way, you're making some really good margins on the items that you sell. You can sell these products about as easily as the products that sell for just a dollar, but you won't have to sell as many of them. So just keep that in mind. That's another thing that I always do.

I advertise with a combination of Facebook Ads, Google PLA's (Google Shopping), and Google AdWords. I find this to be by far the most successful way to run dropshipping stores. I find my own suppliers by contacting manufacturers directly, and if they don't work with dropshippers, I'll ask for their main distributors. I don't use wholesale directories or sites like AliExpress. I build my own business relationships with my suppliers.

That is by far the most profitable way to find and sell products. You'll be getting real margins by selling like a real retailer. So it's the best way to do it by far.

So let's recap: start with Shopify; it's a really good platform. It's easy to build your own sites and upload products. It has its own payment gateway, and you can use other payment gateways as well, including PayPal. Find your own suppliers by going directly to manufacturers and distributors. Use Google PLAs, AdWords, and Facebook Ads for your advertising.

The combination of these four things will set you on a path to profit. It's not the cheapest way to get started, so if you want to gain some experience with less of an initial time and financial investment, you can go with AlixEpress or eBay. But if you really want to build a huge dropshipping business, you've got to find your own suppliers and have your own platform.
