Drop Shipping In Australia Without A Credit Card

Today, I'm going to be covering cashflow and how you can run your Australian drop shipping store without a credit card or cash up front. So, with that let's get started.

Okay, so business cash flow, drop shipping cash flow, it can be a bit of a balancing and for a lot of people especially if you don't want to pay via credit card to your suppliers upfront or with cash up front, which a lot of people don't have obviously if you are getting a ton of sales coming through.

So, what I do recommend so that you can literally start a store with nothing basically, is on your shipping and returns page you say you have it 10-day business day fulfillment window which gives you a lot of time for the payment processor to make sure that your payments come through they hit your account so you can pay your supplier and then they ship it out in time.

That way you don't need to use your credit card and you don't need to use any of your own cash you're literally using their money. This one of the reasons I love drop shipping set it up right and it's almost money for nothing (other than ad spend of course lol).

So let's cover the flow of the sale and how this works...  

The customer pays you on your site via the onlins shopping cart, you wait until the payment processor puts the money into your account which can take up to 2-5 days depending on who you are using.

We use Shopify payments powered by Stripe and usually stripes pretty quick at least in Australia we get our payments within two days. However it can take up to five days and they do say that it can be upto five business days the T&C's.

Once you have had the payment hits your account you then go ahead and place the customers order with your suppliers with the customers money not your own.. simple right?

You will then wait for the supplier to give you the tracking details and then you share that with your customers and the transaction is basically complete plus again with literally no money down from you.

So if you on your shipping returns page and say it takes seven to ten business days to ship out an item, that's not delivered but shipped out you've been honest up front and clear it covers you until the money hits your account and you're good to go. If you don't have a credit card or you don't want to outlay any cash upfront this is a fantasic way to do it.

Let me just add this is one of many reasons why drop shipping is such a great business model you quite literally can start taking orders and making money with no money down, if you have been holding off getting started and worried about cashflow then I think this should help you move forward.
