How To Create The Illusion Of Extra Product Value

Hi guys, greetings here from Dropship Downunder. Today, I want to talk about creating the illusion of extra product value. So, let's dive in.

 

Alright. So, how do we create the illusion of extra product value without outlaying any more money? Well, a lot of the time, you'll get suppliers that will have products that include a certain type of extra add-on with the product. So, it all comes down to the wording when you put it into your product listing.

 

So for instance, if you have a managing board where you say, you sell them for 900 dollars and it includes the carry bag. Don't just say, okay, it's 900 dollars, you get this, you get this, and whatever you're including. You want to say, okay, it's 900 dollars, but you're getting this free carry bag as an extra add on. Don't just say carry bag included. Say, this is a free carry bag, and we add the value of whatever the value is. You can put a monetary value, and find out if you supply what the carry bags worth. Try and get a picture of the carry bag as well.

 

So, if you've got a supplier that is willing to work with you with these sorts of things. They might already have the picture there, if they don't, ask them to send you one and take the pictures yourself and add the picture in there next to it saying, Free carry bag, valued at the X amount and put a picture there next to it. So, there are some things you can do to create that extra value, like even a bonus downloadable video or PDF.

 

So, if someone has a product where they're like, including an instructional DVD for you, and how to use the product, don't just say, it's an instructional video included. It's a bonus instructional video. It's a bonus. It's an extra add on that you're including for them for FREE for purchasing this item from you, okay? It’s not just an included DVD, right? That's just like, yeah, it's included also. You want to get something that's a bonus. Everyone loves a bonus. Everyone loves to get something extra, something for free. So, that's what I'm getting at.

 

Whenever you’re doing a product listing, word it that way and use the actual pictures of these things, and just give people that illusion that yeah, they getting something extra. And like if something comes with the product they are already purchasing, another way to word it... maybe something comes with like a free standard or something to put it on or whatever like that, it’s a FREE gift that you're going to give to them, it's a gift. Don’t just say you know, there's a stand, you get the stand cover with it, and that's not appealing to anybody. It's a FREE gift, so do it that way, okay.

 

And of course, there's always the old classic use of free shipping. So, if you can afford to do free shipping on Sunday, if your supply was coming out for free, say it. It’s a tried and true method. Don't forget the old tried and true method of the FREE shipping, okay?
