How Much To Spend On Ad's When You Start Drop Shipping?

Uncategorized Jun 03, 2019

Today, I'm going to be talking about how much you should spend on ads per day. So with that, let's get started.

The age old question.. How much should you spend per day on ads? whether it be Google, whether it be Facebook ads, whether it be Bing, whether it be any other source, it all comes down to what you can afford, I suppose at the end of the day.

Firstly when you're just getting started and open your new Google account they will give you 100 bucks for FREE in credit if you spend $25 with them to get started, so start lets start with that..

So straight away, you've got hundred bucks to get started with and start testing, what l suggest you do is get some solid research in and learn a little bit about how to set up your ads correctly and how to structure everything properly.

This will obviously save you whole lot of money in the long run and I highly recommend you head over to www.Udemy.com they have tons of great starter course and it's all very affordable.

I suggest you just kick off with 5 to 10 bucks a day just to start building a little bit of momentum, start working out what's working, start finding a few negative keywords that are coming up that don't work for your business.

I'm not going to go into the details I on how to structure everything that's for a different blog post however as I mentioned get some training in. But look the number one rule is don't dump a whole heap of money to get started okay? you're going to use that free credit and test.

That'll last you week or two, and hopefully you have made a couple of sales and learning a little bit, now it's time to scale up a bit, I spend well over 100 dollars per day depending which store it is, easy $150, sometimes up to $500 per day on some of my niche stores, but I’ve scale them up now to a level where I feel as if it has hit the peak of the traffic those current keywords we are targeting are. Any more than that, I’m wasting my money.

Just start small scale with your earnings, scale with your sales that are coming in. As soon as you make a sale and you feel as if you can add an extra 10 bucks a day to your ad spend, do that. Reinvest all your earnings, at least at first, everything back into your advertising, back into your business so you can scale up to a point where you feel as if you've hit the cap mark and your making soild income.

A few of my stores are set up at $500+ a day and that might sould like a lot when your starting out but trust it's nothing compared to many others, but it's worth it, I mean because we only sell high ticket items I only have to make one or 2 sales a day sell to cover the ad spend and if your making multiple sales per day your making great money.

There are other free ways to advertise and drive traffic as well if you are on a really tight budget but still want to keep moving forward and making a few sales so you can reinvest into your ads... The best ones are buy sell, swap facebook groups, facebook marketplace and Gumtree Australia all of these platforms will get you in front of thousands of potential customers.

So with that here is my final peice of advice, learn, test, optimise, scale... just invest in yourself. Like I said before there's tons of courses out there to check out, so just keep studying it's an ongoing process.
