Hey guys. Greetings from Dropship Downunder. Today, I'm going to be talking about how you should be starting Facebook groups for every store that you start basically. If you're not, you're leaving money on the table. So with that, let's get started.
Alright. So, Facebook groups, they are super, super powerful. I use them a lot of the time, other people's groups, huge groups. I'm always on the lookout for possible swap groups within my niches. But probably, the most powerful one is to build a huge community around your dropshipping store, especially if you're in a passion-based niche, whether it be a sports icon, a hobby, whatever. Anything you've always wanted. Any kind of passion-based niche, and it's highly, highly recommended to build a Facebook group.
I mean, you can just google it if you don't know how to do it. I'm not going to go into how to set up a group. It’s very, very easy to just type in how to set up a Facebook group, but the thing about starting your own Facebook group and owning your own Facebook group within a niche is you build a community of like-minded people around what you selling already.
I recommend you set up a buy or swap groups that people are already buying and selling items within that niche, okay? It makes sense obviously, doesn't it? because whatever they're selling or swapping people are already getting into your Facebook group or community do this, they are active buyers, at least in theory, because you know, it's a buy and swap group. That's why they're there. They're selling something or they did to buy something. So, some of the games secondhand and all the rest of it.
But if you build up a Facebook group of say between a five thousand to hundred thousand. I’ve made up in Facebook groups of 50,000 plus and most of my sales sort of come through that channel for this one particular store. So yeah, it is hyper, hyper-targeted and free. So, if you're not doing it, if you're not setting up and actively marketing your Facebook groups out there you are just leaving money on the table, you can grow these Facebook groups quite easily too. I'll just quickly go into that.
All you need to do is basically, obviously set up your group, your Facebook group, and then you just promote in other groups that have similar to yours, and people start signing up, coming in. And it all happens organically obviously as well, but you can build…these groups really, really fast, and you are in control of the group, you control the action, you control the content. You can sort of use your profile picture or your header.
Header images, advertising niche. You can control the pinned post. A pinned post in a Header image, advertising space. You can control the pinned post. A pinned post in a Facebook group you may have noticed usually has instructions on how the group should operate, but you can have it as your weekly discount announcement, or discount code, or however you want to run it, but the idea is to build a community around your dropshipping store and use it as a platform to sell your products and become an authority within that niche. So that's about it, guys.
Make sure you set up Facebook groups. If you're not doing it, you're losing money. It's probably the ultimate free traffic source, in my opinion, at least other than sort of reaching out to influencers that have bigger audiences. But I guess the idea is to build your own audiences internally as well, and you'll make a ton of extra sales.
